The Friendship Bench is a not-for-profit organization that aims to remove the stigma around youth mental health, and encourage peer-to-peer support and conversation around the topic.
The goal with the site was to offer an easy-to-navigate resource for students, as well as an educational resource for parents and faculty members.
The finished site includes an e-commerce section to buy products directly from the site,?and an interactive map. built in partnership with Sensei Marketing, that uses geo-location to help students find the nearest Friendship Bench program, or mental health resources in their area.
