Often in life, we sit around waiting for something magical to happen.
We watch movies, or read books, and say to ourselves, “Man, how I wish that could happen to me.” And then we wait.
But we shouldn?t wait around for stuff to happen – we need to make it happen.
You ever ask someone how their weekend was and listen as they respond in great detail? And when they ask you in return, your only response is ?well? same ol…’? ? get out there!
Do something new. It doesn?t have to be crazy. It doesn?t even require leaving the house.
Here?s one: make paper airplanes and toss them around. See what one flies the furthest or in the craziest pattern.
Or get out your blender and gather six random ingredients and throw them in. Bonus points if it tastes good ? but a far better story if it doesn?t.
Try something new, something different. Do something that gives you a tale.
When someone asks how your weekend was, you?ll have an answer. Even if it?s ridiculous, you?ll smile, because it?s different.
?I threw airplanes while blindfolded, sipping on some concoction that didn’t taste very good.”
It may not be the script of a movie, or the payoff from your recent favourite book, but it will be your own story that you’ve created.?One that might just inspire others to create their own stories too.
One quick piece of advice, though – strawberries and mustard do not a good smoothie make!
